Directing the International Operations for Convoy of Hope (COH) we are excited about the opportunities the Lord has allowed us to be a part of.
One Day to Feed the World
One Day to Feed the World is a lifeblood for Convoy of Hope. This fund-raising initiative is the foundation for everything that Convoy of Hope does in the program environment. This enables us to feed over 18,000 children daily, to host 50+ US outreaches every year, to transport tractor-trailer loads of food throughout this country and around the world.
Can one day of your life change the world? The answer to that question is yes!
Each day more than 16,000 children die of hunger related causes, and many more die from lack of clean drinking water. That’s more than 6 million lives lost each year. But we have the power to change that through Convoy of Hope’s One Day to Feed the World campaign.
Your gift, equal to one day’s wage can help change the world for suffering people. With the help of corporate sponsors, Convoy of Hope can multiply a $100 gift into $400, or more, of life sustaining goods. Everyone can participate in One Day to Feed the World.
Imagine, you take the equivalent of one day’s pay, give that to help hurting people and Convoy of Hope can multiply that gift by at least 4 times! You have the power to make a difference in the lives of people that are hurting, or people that are victims of a disaster. You can have an impact, by participating in One Day to Feed the World!
“Every pastor I know is on a holy quest to move people into compassionate lifestyles. The quandary has always been how to do it in a powerful, yet positive way. This is an exciting, effective and easy way to motivate and mobilize your church to do something great for God – taking one day to feed people around the world.”
